Instructions:
It's simple: select program from list, check radiobutton appropriate to your
version and press "Generate It".
Important stuff:
1. Extensis demos can be of two types: first ones have "Personalize
" button and you can register them by typing your name, company and serial n
umber in the "Personalize" dialog. Second ones (i.e. Mask Pro) doen'
t allow user to register them, saying they're "Demo only". Bullshit.
They can be registered. And they'll be ;) At this point "Put registrati
on info into registry automatically" checkbox comes into play. (Pleasee
note that you may leave it checked even if your demo allows to register it by e
ntering info in the "Personalize" dialog. It will do your job in this ca
se ;)
2. Quite all Extensis products store their registration information under H
KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Extensis\<Program Name>\Registration. If
you receive "Error writing key to registry" message, it will mean (in m
ost cases) that this particular program stores registration data under other key
(i.e. PhotoFrame 1.0 stores it under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ex
;tensis\PhotoFrame 1.0\1.0.0 (pay attention that last subkey
's name is "1.0.0", not "Registration"). So in t
his case you should find your demo's registration key and put your serial an
d personal details there manually. It's simple to find: key that you need wi
ll contain values "Name", Company" and "SerialNumber".
3. Finally, if you see dialog box that will suggest you to "Register No
w", "Register Later" and "Never register", simple press "
;Never register" button and this little pop-up will never annoy you.
4. This keymaker will possibly generate correct codes for some future versions o
f Extensis products (have you noticed 5.x version option? ;)), but fir
st three-letters parts of serials for future versions may be different (these pa
rts identify product). So if you receive not-working serial somewhen in the futu
re - please let me know.
